Highlights: Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum (viewing inside if open) , Presidential Palace (outside view), One Pillar Pagoda – small, symbolic, serene (Ho Chi Minh rest in peace place can be closed without notice) 11:30 AM – Visit Tran Quoc Pagoda (West Lake) which is Hanoi’s oldest pagoda, floating in stillness. Just 10 minutes from the Mausoleum, Tran Quoc Pagoda offers a spiritual contrast: - Ancient brick stupa glowing by the lake - Soft breeze, temple bells, gentle prayers - Beautiful reflection on West Lake waters TRƯA: 12:30 PM – Visit the Temple of Literature, where Vietnam’s scholars once dreamed - A short drive south brings you to Vietnam’s first national university (1070). Explore: Five peaceful courtyards, Stone steles honoring royal scholars, Traditional architecture and lotus ponds 1:30 PM – Enjoy lunch 3:00 PM – Visit Train Street - Where daily life meets raw adrenaline. It’s a narrow residential street. Cafés inches from the tracks. When the train comes, locals calmly move tables aside, cameras pause, hearts race, steel roars through the neighborhood . Sit at a café, sip Vietnamese coffee, and feel the vibration under your feet. TỐI: 4:00 PM – Wander the Old Quarter - 36 streets (the streets are named by what is sold on the pavement). This is Hanoi at its most alive. It’s famous for Trang An natural complex that is recognized as a WORLD NATURAL HERITAGE by UNESCO. DETAILED ITINERARY 08h00 AM: Check out the hotel with luggage loaded on the bus, then we will drive to Ninh Binh in 2.5 hours with a toilet stop. 10h30 AM: Arrive at Hoa Lu District and enjoy a 2 hour boat trip on Tam Coc lake complex. A pleasant boat trip will get you through 3 caves surrounded by mountains and rice paddies (seasonal) TRƯA: 12h30PM: get back to the boat station and have lunch 1h30 PM: Digest your lunch by visiting Hoa Lu ancient citadel where Vietnam’s First Emperor Dinh Tien Hoang set up his first Kingdom in 968. The visit is one hour. 2h30 PM : Enjoy an optional bike ride around the area if you like to get into the beautiful nature of the area. 3h30 PM: Visit Hang Mua cave (best to be seen by sunset time) , walk up 500 steps on top of the cave to enjoy the best view of the area. This is a great way to digest your food after lunch. Beside the spectacular step way to the top of the mountain, Hang Mua also has a beautiful lotus flower lake where you can capture your best photos with lotus flowers. 4h30 PM: Get back into the bus and drive to the hotel for check-in. Take a rest TỐI: 4h30 -7h30 PM We will drive back to Hanoi with one stop for the toilet, then enjoy dinner at an Indian restaurant (on your own account) in Hanoi, after that get back to the hotel for resting.
